Beauty Walks Alone

Beauty walks alone
In the gardens of my heart
She never tarries
As she spreads her grace
Stars appear and shine
Bright as diamonds in the sky
While I remember
Her sweet embrace

On a warm summer's eve
The air, so soft and tender
Like a lovers kiss
Burns in my mind
I can still see her face
Her fragrance I remember
While my heart cries out
How could I be so blind

Beauty walks alone
In the gardens of my heart
She never tarries
As she spreads her grace
Stars appear and shine
Bright as diamonds in the sky
While I remember
Her sweet embrace

It's at times like this,
I'm longing to surrender
And feel her sweet caress
Just one more time
I can still hear her voice
Crying, why does it end here
And my heart cries out
How could I be so blind

Beauty walks alone
In the gardens of my heart
She never tarries
As she spreads her grace
Stars appear and shine
Bright as diamonds in the sky
While I remember
Her sweet embrace
