When I Dance With You

When I dance with you, and hold you in my arms,
Gaze into your eyes, and fall for all your charms
I feel a tenderness welling up in me, I can't express
I love you can't you see. But I just can't seem to tell you,
What you mean to me.

When I talk to you, I know it sounds absurd,
I've got things to say, I just can't find the words.
I just nod along with feelings that I hide, I'm not that strong
Why can't I open wide, and tell you that I love you.
It stays locked inside.

I know I'll always love you, when I look into your eyes
I know I want to hold you, but my feelings I disguise.
It's such a simple question, I just can't seem to ask
Do you love me darling, your face is such a mask.

Do you come to me with loving in your heart?
I'm afraid to know, afraid I'd fall apart.
It's such a simple thing, but it terrifies me so. My heart would sing,
If the answer wasn't no. So tell me now my darling,
Just let me know.
